In January 2008, the Customer Service Standard of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (Ontario Regulation 429/07) became a legislated requirement, whereby all companies and employers must provide training to all employees, contractors, volunteers and suppliers of support services who may interact with the public.
